Authentication and security cookies keep you signed in, complete OAuth and password-recovery flows, apply rate and abuse protections, and enforce permissions. RokaOS may also remember interface themes, invitation/referral continuity, and the analytics choice. These values are used to provide a feature you requested or protect the service and cannot all be disabled while using that feature.

When permitted and configured, PostHog records limited events such as onboarding completion, page path, task completion, shortlist activity, and approved AI proposals. RokaOS identifies signed-in users only by an internal UUID. Analytics exclude URL query strings, invitation and RSVP tokens, raw AI prompts, guest contact information, document contents, authentication values, and payment secrets.

Security and reliability monitoring may process error and request metadata necessary to detect and repair failures. RokaOS removes query strings, authorization headers, cookies, names, email addresses, IP addresses, raw prompts, and sensitive extra fields before configured Sentry events are sent. This operational monitoring is not used for advertising.

The analytics preference cookie lasts up to 180 days, after which RokaOS asks again. Provider retention must match the production retention schedule. Material changes to tracking practices receive a new notice version and, where appropriate, a renewed choice. Contact privacy@rokaos.com with questions.
